Each with a tapering rectangular ladderback, the geometrically-pierced and scrolled toprail above three conforming horizontal splats and a dished padded seat covered in later polychrome crewelwork of flowers, foliage, birds and mythological animals with a pair of figures, on an ivory ground, on square channelled and chamfered legs with egg-and-dart border, joined by an H-shaped stretcher, one chair with remains of paper label inscribed in ink 'Lt. Colonel E.A. Leconfield Paget...' one chair with restored break to top of stile, one seat-rail on each chair replaced, two back feet tipped, restorations (2)
