The rectangular top above two simulated and four mahogany-lined green leather-fronted drawers, the top two a fall-flap enclosing a green leather-lined writing-surface, three pigeon-holes and a mahogany-lined drawer, the right-hand side with a hinged locking flap, the locks stamped 'J.BRAMAH'S LATE PATENT' below a crown, the hinges stamped 'HORNE PATENT', on a plinth base, the inside of one drawer stamped '9619' and '619'
