The first painted on the globular body with two phoenix flying among meandering branches of peony below a trellis-pattern band, the cylindrical neck terminating in a brown-edged flared rim and decorated with upright flower-stems, 24 cm high; and an Arita kendi painted on the bulbous sides with two landscape panels, the spout with cloud scrolls and the neck with stylised tulips (glaze flaw and pit), 22 cm high (2)
