A famille verte biscuit figure of guanyin and a pair of fo-dogs
Qing Dynasty
The seated guanyin dressed in a long flowing robe, a cowl covering the high chignon, holding a child on her raised right leg, pierced rockwork with a book on her left, separate shaped base, enamelled in green, aubergine, yellow and black, 31 cm high; and a pair of turquoise-glazed fo-dogs, modelled seated on their haunches with the heads turned to one side, long ears and a curl on top of the head, one with pierced eye, 23 cm high (damages and restorations)
