A set of four Imari plates
18th Century
Painted to the centre with a tripod globular vase filled with an abundance of flowers, the shallow well with a blue-ground band enriched with gilt scrollwork and chrysanthemum-heads, the wide rim with a scrolling meander issuing tuffs of magnolia, morning glory, daisies, lotus and peony (one with base crack)
