Maker's mark of Lucas Claterbos, Amsterdam, 1744
On four moulded foliate and scroll supports, the stepped rim rising to a square-shaped body with rounded angles and shaped into four panels, over-all engraved with lambrequins, typical Louis Quatorze foliate motifs, shells, draperies and tassels, the conforming cover stepped and high domed centred by a pine-apple finial moulded with shells
