A rare large German silver brandy bowl
Maker's mark of Sycke Wbbens (Sicke Wibbens), Emden, 1650
Circular, on domed spreading foot, two flat handles pierced with strapwork and medaillons (one with engraved initials C.K.B.) and applied angel's masks, the foot chased and engraved with straps, fruits and angel's heads, the bowl engraved with strapwork, scrolls and allegoric figure symbolising "Hope" and "Faith" within medaillons
