Of rombus-shape, the pierced three-quarter galleried top above a glazed bevelled door flanked to each side by a female caryatid upright, with glazed bevelled sides, the interior with mirrored back and base and fitted with a pair of glass shelves, above a frieze drawer with laurel and foliate-cast escutcheon, on fluted tapering legs joined by an undertier and on toupie feet, the drawer lock-plate signed BAUR & CIE/Fg St Antoine 75, Paris
