An ormolu-mounted Sevres-pattern dark-blue-ground garniture
Late 19th Century
Comprising a centre-bowl and a pair of vases and covers: the circular bowl with reeded rim, the body with crossed laurel branches and a pair of double-loop laurel-branch handles terminating with a female mask, on spreading foliate-cast base mounted with four chimera monopodia joined by laurel swags; the vases of conforming design, each containing a lift-out metal reservoir, the cover unscrewing for conversion to an oil-lamp
