The owner has been, on many occasions, a member of the British National team and has won the King's Hundred a minimum of fifteen times. He won both the Daily Telegraph and Daily Mail at Bisley in the late 1930's and 1947 respectively and he was a member of the British Team to Canada in 1931 and the West Indies in 1948
