A LOUIS XV ORMOLU-MOUNTED TULIPWOOD BUREAU PLAT
The rounded rectangular leather-lined top above three short drawers and three false drawers to the reverse, on cabriole legs headed by espagnolette-masks suspending bell-flowers and continuing to pierced foliate sabots, restorations and partially remounted, the top resupported and possibly associated, stamped twice to the underside 'DL' and inscribed in red ink to the right side '40-17-11'
