A Paris (Duc d'Angoulême) solitaire
Circa 1785, stencilled red crowned monogram, incised S to saucer
Painted with a band of trailing pink roses between lines of gilt foliage, above scattered roses and gilt corn husks and beneath a border of gilt foliage swags, with gilt line rims, comprising:

A cylindrical teapot and cover (slight chipping to tip of spout)
A flared bucket-shaped sugar-bowl and cover
A coffee-can and saucer (chip to rim of can, saucer cracked and repaired)
A square tray, the centre with a large bouquet of garden flowers, the pierced gallery border with blue and gilt scrolls and flowers (chipping to rim)
The tray 8¾ in. (22.2 cm.) wide (4)
