The bowl of rounded form on short foot, the interior plain white with a central quatrefoil in a gold border of colourful flowers and butterflies, the exterior gold with similar motifs and birds around four shaped white cartouches, three containing similar motifs, the fourth with a black naskh inscription outlined in gold, the dish of shallow rounded form similarly decorated, an identical inscription in the centre, minute rim chip to bowl
