A pair of Meissen octafoil stands
Circa 1880, blue crossed swords marks, one impressed B.98.1 and Pressnummer 48, the other incised B.980 and Pressnummer 36
The tops painted with a wreath of flowers enclosing scattered flower-sprays, the border applied with trailing garlands of flowers and with flower-heads within an entwined ribbon border with pendant scrolls and swags of flowers, on four scroll and foliage feet (one with one foot lacking, the other with restoration to pendant border, one border with chipping and parts lacking)
