Type 3:110aG, 4:160G. 3- to 4-line initials, paragraph marks and capital strokes in red, first large initial space left blank, traces of contemporary MS quiring. (Tiny wormholes, light dampstain at upper edge, somewhat heavier at end with some loss of blank margin in final leaf, final leaf detached and tipped to endpaper). Contemporary South German blindstamped pigskin over bevelled wooden boards (stamps not in Kyriss or Schwenke-Sammlung), evidence of chain staple on lower board, vellum index tabs, without corner and central pieces, clasps and title label (split along lower joint, later endpapers, tiny wormholes). Provenance: Wimpffen, Dominican convent (17th-century book label).
