Naturalistically modelled with their heads turned slightly to the left or right and legs correspondingly positioned with hooves firmly on the ground, each baring its long teeth with the tongue at one side as though harnessed to pull a stately carriage, the ears pricked and the mane and tail tightly bound, all painted in white with some red tassels, some extremities restored
