Edo Period (Late 17th/early 18th Century)
The centre of the dish with a flared column decorated in iron red enamel and gilt on underglaze blue with four shaped panels alternatively decorated with stylised peony, chrysanthemum and cherry, the rim with a band of foliage, the reverse with chrysanthemum and plum branches, with three ewers and covers and a mustard pot, the ewers each with a gilt letter A, O and S, two covers restored, slight chips to two spouts
