Engraved bird's-eye view of Venice on one Royal sheet, 438 x 732mm. Title set in a decorative strapwork cartouche, key along lower margin, the lagoon decorated with ships and fishing vessels, later hand-colouring. (Remargined, old vertical fold neatly repaired, some spotting, some dampstaining affecting key, some small holes.)
A fine and rare view of Venice, being the third state of 'the Furlani copy of the Master of Ica's plan', with the extra names added. Schultz 41: Woodward Forlani 42.03; Tooley 582-583 (same item); Watermark sim. to Woodward 245, but 10mm longer.
