Henri Mirande [Nice 1877-1955], draughtsman. artist and humorist, whose work was published in many newspapers

This is one of an interesting group of 'art' lithographic fans made in 1904 as a memorial to the lithographer Henry [Bonaventure] Monnier (1805-1877) by his admirers including Jacques Villon. They advertise an annual gala costume event to benefit artists and humorists named after Monnier; they are inscribed "Fete Henry Monnier au profit de la caisse de secours des dessinateurs-humoristes, Casino de Paris 1er Juin 1904
