The drum-shaped case on waisted support raised in relief with an Apollo mask, the top with overspilling floral basket mount, flanked by a figure of Cupid in huntsman garb saluting after Francois Moreau, a banner to the base inscribed E BILLET DE LOGEMENT, on rectangular breccia marble plinth with toupie feet, the white enamel Arabic dial within a gilt bezel and with painted floral swags, pierced gilt-metal hands, twin barrel movement with countwheel strike on bell, stamped 7469 on the backplate
