The hood with brass-capped swan-neck pediment with gilt-wood onion finials, outset columns, with conch shell patera to the wavy arch crossbanded trunk door, further crossbanding to plinth on bracket feet, the 12in. (30cm.) square white dial with painted floral spandrels, similar flowers to the centre with pierced brass hands and rubbed signature, movement with countwheel strike on bell
