The hood with swan-neck pediment flanking a brass ball and spire finial, with chequer inlay and brass-capped outset columns, arched 3/4 length trunk door, with plain plinth on bracket feet, the brass dial with painted rolling moon in the arch, female mask and foliate spandrels, foliate engraved centre with date ring (lacking hand) signed George Womersley, the four pillar rack striking movement with anchor escapement
