he in brown floppy hat, dark purple coat and black breeches seated on a cask, with a goose on his knee and other fowl below, bargaining with a country maid in blue jacket and iron-red skirt, carrying a fish basket over her left arm and offering coins, incised No.720, impressed numerals and blue crossed swords marks (finger tips missing) -- 16cm. high
