and hinged cover, carved and pierced with a central cartouche shaped panel depicting a figure on horseback and attendants in a pine strewn rocky landscape, bordered by stylised key fret, flowers and foliage, the interior fitted with four rectangular ivory boxes and covers carved and pierced with flowers and foliage -- 6½in. (16.5cm) wide, (cracks, chips, minor repairs).
