An Unusual Art Deco Agate, Coral, Diamond and Enamel Scent Box by Cartier
The chinese influenced tapering and bevelled rectangular body of caramel-coloured agate, a carved coral phoenix applied to two sides with a black enamel pin, the stopper of a pierced and carved hemispherical coral boss with four collet-set rose-cut diamonds, a pearl and black enamel finial above and a black enamel collar decorated with a two pronged arched motif below, with a spoon attached circa 1925, French control marks, 7.5cm. high
