AN UNUSUAL BURLWOOD QIN-SHAPED WRIST REST
QING DYNASTY

Carved in the form of a qin with poetic inscription, followed by the seal Lanshi, the studs inlaid with ivory, the wood of reddish-brown tone with a wavy grain, the longchi (dragon's pond) and the fengzhao (phoenix pool) on the reverse side of the qin patterned with lighter shade of wood
10 5/8 in. (27 cm.) long
