A WILLIAM IV SILVER COVERED BUTTER DISH ON STAND
Maker's mark of Joseph & John Angell, London, 1835
Cylindrical with flaring rim, broadly fluted, with applied Bath-point rim, the flat topped raised cover chased with trailing flower at intervals, topped by flower finial, the stand with applied floral and foliate scroll rim, each piece engraved with Ducal coronet and two crests the dish--5in. (12.7cm.) high, the dish8in. (22.2cm.) diam., 25oz.
