A jewelled silver Punchbowl and two Ladels
marked Liubavin with Imperial warrant, St. Petersburg, 1899-1908
Of traditional form, the oval bodies applied with stylised birds and flowering foliate scrolls embellished with cabochon garnets in raised mounts, the raised geometric handles with similarly set garnets and chrysoprase, with gilt interiors, the base of the bowl with Russian inscription 'To deeply respected Artur Ivanovich Marmen from his colleagues at the Imperial Education Society of Noble Maidens "Smol'nyi" 1905', marked under bases and on handles, in original velvet and silk-lined wooden box, the cover stamped in Russian 'Court Manufacturer A. Liubavin St. Petersburg.' with Imperial warrant
