The sources of Torres Llorca's works are the stories or situations experienced by human beings. Thus, they are inspired in the story told, and by the artist's own experience of space and time. Since his trip to Mexico in 1985, Torres Llorca has incorporated hand-crafted toys or religious images in his work, elements that came from the impressions received from this first trip, and that have gained through the years specific symbolic significance within his own artistic language.
