The gilt-brass backplate of cartouche outline and cast with a border of leafy scrolls, with recessed centre section inscribed DENT LONDON ELSE GERBER with projecting rod with pineapple terminal, a sphere suspended below from a spring, with coronet mount to the top, centred by a revolving silvered Roman chapter ring, the pointer provided by the tail of a mermaid mount, the movement inside with vertically positioned Swiss lever balance, stamped A. FELL DEL. No.108
