The hood with stepped top and panel to the frieze with crossbanded border, brass-capped part-fluted pilasters (top re-built), with square top trunk door with moulded borders and on stepped plinth (re-built), the 11in. (28cm.) square brass dial signed John Trubsham London below the silvered chapter ring, with cherub mask and foliate spandrels, matted centre with ringed winding holes and coronet engraving around the date aperture, subsidiary seconds ring, later hands, the five ringed pillar movement with inside countwheel strike and anchor escapement; associated; movement and dial first quarter 18th century, case 18th century; with restorations
