A walnut box with hinged lid, containing a sliding tray with two racks of pivoted metal-framed wood mounts, pre-cut with red edges for the display of forty-eight cards, shown in sequence by dropping action, decorative brass hinges, 4 x 7¾ x 8¾ in.; with forty-eight cartes including examples by Southwell Bros., T. Carrick and others.
