a gilt bronze and ivory figure, cast and carved from a model by Cl.J.R.Colinet, of an exotic dancer wearing flowing skirt, 'jewelled' filigree bodice and elaborate headdress, the skirt and headdress decorated with blue, red, and pink enamel motifs, she stands on one leg holding other behind her and arm outstretched, on a circular base decorated with scarab beetles and lotus leaves, on waisted veined red marble base, signed in the bronze, numbered 15, base with impressed foundry seal -- 29.5cm. high
