A builder's mirror-back half model of the Steam Trawler Passing, built by Cook, Welton and Gemmell Ltd., Beverley, 1913,
with cutaway masts and funnel, fairlead, bollards, anchor winch, deck rails, companionways, fish holds, sorting boxes, trawl winch and equipment, superstructure and decks with inked planks, panels and windows, ventilators, engine room lights, stove pipe, dinghy in davits and other details. The hull, finished in lacquer and black with silver-plated fittings (tarnished), is mounted in an oak glazed case against a back-silvered mirror -- 17 x 45¼in. (43.2 x 115cm.)
