A well detailed 1:48 scale model of the Steam Dredger Prittlewell, originally built by Simons Lobuitz, Renfrew 1940, and modelled by C.D. Riches,
with mast, halyards and rigging, anchors, winch, Priestman No. 30 crane with detailed and glazed weatherproof cover, 150 ton capacity hopper, superstructure with wheelhouse with helm and binnacle, deck rails, companionways, ventilators, stayed funnel with safety valve extension pipe, hooter and ladder, engine room lights, ventilators, water tanks, tank vent pipes, two canvas covered lifeboats in davits and many other details. The hull, finished in red, black, white and brown, with single screw and rudder, is mounted on two turned brass columns, glazed case with legend -- 19½ x 32½in. (49.5 x 82.5cm.)
