A well detailed rigged static display model of the Americas Cup Yacht Volunteer of 1887,
with mast, boom and rigging, anchors, winch, companionways, whisker poles, bell, belaying rails and pins, deck lights, grating, bitts, bilge pumps, helm and binnacle and ship's boat and other details. The hull, finished in green and white, is mounted on two brass columns on an inlaid mahogany display base with legend and brass-bound glazed cover. Measurements overall -- 31½ x 31in. (80 x 78.8cm.)
