A Siegburg stoneware pewter-mounted globular jug
with a loop handle, sprigged with a band of urns issuing from flowers and flowerheads on a ground impressed with a diamond pattern among strap work, the neck sprigged with masks among scrolling foliage, circa 1600 (damages and restoration) -- 22.5cm. high; and a schnelle, of tapering form, moulded with scenes from the Crucifixion, the Deposition and the Holy Women at the Sepulchre, with hinged pewter cover, probably 19th century (damages and repairs) -- 27.5cm. high
