The "Waterloo Cup":-
a good, modern silver-gilt trophy cup and cover in the early 18th century manner with a campana shaped body, reed and foliate shell borders and a high domed cover flanked by two beaded foliate scroll handles and surmounted by a ram's mask knop finial, the cover and lower body decorated with applied plaques of flowers, tied ribbons and the lower body further decorated with six grotesque masks and engraved on one side with an armorial and on the other side with the inscription "won by Mr H.C.Pilkington's 'Pentonville' staff-officer Persephone", (with a wooden plynth and a wooden travelling case), by S.Garrard, 1924 - 36.5cm high, 111oz.
