First separate edition of this guide to the antiquities of Rome by Pomponius Laetus (1428-98). In describing individual monuments, it begins with the Colosseum and ends with the Temple of Jupiter on the Capitol; it then lists sites under 14 regional headings and finally lists bridges, fora, basilicae, baths, roads, etc. The work was included in Pomponius's Opera, published the same year.
