A SET OF ATTRACTIVE ART DECO JADEITE, DIAMOND AND ONYX JEWELELRY
Comprising a pendant and a pair of earpendants, each earpendant very well carved as a shou character, completely pierced through the centre, the highly translucent material of a brilliant emerald green and deep green colour suspended from a freely rotating hoop to the diamond set bail, set with baguette and carré diamonds, highlighted with onyx sugarloaf cabochons, with a matching pendant set in the centre with a glassy plaque of brilliant emerald green colour, the earpendants 19th century, settings circa 1925
Earpendants length 27.1 mm, thickness 10.05 mm
Pendant length 18.7 mm, thickness 1.6 mm
With certificate 4260736 dated 8/17/95 from the Gemological Institute of America stating that the rectangular plaque is Jadeite, natural colour and no evidence of impregnation was detected (3)
