Finely enamelled to the jar and cover with pairs of pink-ground panels enclosing phoenix in flight above peony branches, all reserved on a ground with scattered blooms, the sides of the jar with pairs of animal-mask handles supporting iron hoops, the cover surmounted by a crouching Buddhistic-lion final
