A Vienna claret-ground dish
painted with Herculese and Omphale, with Cupid in attendance, the well with a gilt band enriched with raised leaves and scrolls, the border reserved with six oval panels of maidens between raised gilt leaves and mythical beasts, blue shield mark, impressed 800 for 1800 (some minor scratches and wear) -- 31cm. diam.
