Maker's mark of Shiebler, New York, circa 1885
The shaped stems applied with varied flowers on a matte ground, the reverses of spoon and fork handles engraved with monogram, comprising:
Twelve table spoons, each with a carnation
Twelve teaspoons, each with a different flower
Twelve dinner forks, each with a lily
Twelve lunch forks, each with a five-petaled flower
Twelve dinner knives with silver-plated blades, each with a six-petaled flower, each marked on handle
Twelve lunch knives with silver-plated blades, each with a black-eyed Susan
