Portrait of Helen Maitland

Lamb met Helen Maitland, a young music student, in Paris, and painted at least two portraits of her. She married Boris von Anrep, a mosaicist and close friend of Lamb, but left him in 1925 for Roger Fry with whom she lived until his death in 1934.
