with sloping reticulated top with knop finial and scrolling terminals, all above a hexagonal stem with moulded lappet base supported on six short feet, painted and gilt with panels of open kiku heads, chidori in flight above foaming waves, boys at leisure and at play in interiors and officials seated before screens, all on a ground of scrolling foliage and geometric motifs -- 3½in. (8.9cm.) high, signed Kozan.
