painted and gilt to the centre with overlapping panels of officials and ladies eating and drinking in an interior, children playing, cranes amongst pine, a warrior overlooking a walled pavilion and trailing wisteria, all on a ground of precious objects, the underside with further panels of scholars and boys, ladies reading albums and a river landscape scene -- 4¾in. (12cm.) diam, signed Hiramatsu Ganzan and with white mon, (gilt rubbing).
