A 3-inch (7.6cm.) diameter celestial pocket globe made up of twelve hand coloured lithographed gores, the Colurus Solstitiorum and Colurus Equinoctiorum shown, both graduated in degrees, the equinoctial graduated in degrees and hours in Roman numerals, the ecliptic graduated in days, and showing the zodiac symbols, the Circle of Perpetual Apparition at London and Circle of Perpetual Occultation at London shown, the stars shown by magnitude, the constellations shown pictorially and titled (cracked, scuff mark with very slight loss of image), steel axis pins, in fishskin covered case with brass hooks and eyes, lined with the hand coloured lithographed gores of NEWTON'S Improved Pocket CELESTIAL GLOBE (case cracked, slight loss of image)
