Applied with gilt-metal mounts, the breche violette marble top with projecting rounded angles, above a pair of long drawers within beaded and fluted borders, above a shaped apron, centred with a paterae and decorated with ribbon-tied laurel leaves, the angles decorated with foliate mounts, the panelled sides inlaid with entwined lines and paterae, on collared square tapering legs terminating in gilt sabots, the marble with old repairs
