A SWISS ENAMELLED GOLD SNUFF-BOX

Rectangular gold box with canted corners, the lid centered by an oval reserve painted with a couple of sheperds resting at a river in a mountainous lanscape, on a translucent blue enamelled ground, framed by white enamel bands embellished with engraved taille d'épargne gold triangles, the base with a similarly framed translucent blue guilloché enamel panel, the sides also enamelled with translucent blue framed by white enamel bands -- 88 mm wide
