Slightly tapering rectangular case with curved top and bottom, set with brown jasper panels, the gilt-metal mounts pierced and chased with scrolls and foliage, the interior with implements comprising ivory tablets, a folding knife, a pencil holder, a bokdin, and an ear-cleaner (scissors missing)
